Friends and family,

I am back again for a second year of fundraising for a cause that means a lot to me, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  You may remember my past participation in the Guys & Dolls Auction Gala as a  “Doll”. This year, I am serving on the event committee. As a member of the committee, I’m invested in the cause more than ever before; mentoring incoming participants and continuing to raise life-saving funds to help cure cystic fibrosis.

This cause is incredibly deserving and I’ve seen firsthand how the CF Foundation makes a difference. As part of my commitment, I will be raising funds that will go to research and care for cystic fibrosis and the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Just one of the thousands of people who will benefit from these efforts is Cameron, who lives right here in Charlotte. I am raising funds in his honor.

Please consider donating to my fundraising efforts and supporting my participation in this event. There are a few ways you can support me:
  1. Make a 100% tax-deductible donation right here online with your credit or debit card
  2. Purchase a ticket to the event (held March 23,2024 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown) by clicking “Purchase” or by calling the Foundation at 704-321-7852. Tickets are $150 and include appetizers, beer and wine open bar, a DJ, and dancing, as well as entrance into the after-party at Prohibition, Tyber Creek, Connolly’s, or Dandelion Market. VIP tickets are $225 and include all of the above PLUS – entry into the event an hour early with an open beer, wine, AND liquor bar during that hour, access to an exclusive VIP bar during the event, premiere seating, and a champagne toast.

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 56. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!

On behalf of CF families around the country, thank you so much for your support and for ensuring that one day CF stands for Cure Found!

Volleyween 2023! Teams of 4 so you'll see matching groups in this photo :)

In mid-October I was able to put together a charity volleyball tournament that benefitted CFF, in collaboration with Sportslink & Christian Crute (an avid supporter of the cause). We sold out at 10 teams across 2 divisions and raised over $1,000! Because it was Halloween, we made this costume themed and had even more fun!

Being a part of Team Cameron means I get to raise funds in support of the child you see here! Cameron is local to Charlotte and one of the many whose life expectancy is positively impacted by the funds we raise for research and care.

I am so excited to be back a second year fundraising for CFF and the Guys & Dolls gala. This year as a mentor I am supporting two amazing "Guys" while also supporting Team Cameron.

Back again!
