Welcome to Taylor Burgess's Page
Taylor Burgess
I am honored to have been nominated for a fundraising campaign benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
I am participating in this campaign in honor of the late Ricky Briggs. Ricky was well known within our community as a husband, father and comedian. He was born when the average lifespan of a CF patient was 14 years old. He was fortunate to live until 35 and have had the opportunity of a double lung transplant. Today, there are new drugs and treatments that allow CF patients to live longer. This work is not done, but because of campaigns like these, CF patients have an average life expectancy of 56 years!
Pictured below is Ricky with his twin boys Teddy and Sawyer as well as his sister Amanda Briggs and wife, Hannah Briggs. Ricky’s sister Amanda also had CF and passed away at the age of 27.
Ricky and Amanda’s parents: Ricky and Sonya Briggs are huge advocates for the CF foundation, your donations are such an honor for this sweet family that has suffered so much loss.
Please consider helping me to reach my goal by donating to my campaign. Together we can make a difference!
