The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation does incredible work to support those living with cystic fibrosis, in all facets. Decades of scientific developments, community support, and a dedication to finding a cure for all with CF. I love this community, so I am honored to have been selected as part of the CT Finest Class of 2025, a special event recognizing outstanding professionals in my community. In accepting this distinction, I have committed to raise money to help the Foundation realize its mission of curing cystic fibrosis.
Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Now, the median age is over 50. That’s only because of the time, dedication, and donations of so many caring folks. There are now more than a dozen treatments that help so many with CF live a longer, fuller life.
The work continues, and I am grateful to be a small part pushing towards the larger goal.
