I'm honored to be a part of making a difference for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by joining a passionate group of change makers and outstanding professionals in my community known as Charlottesville's Finest. Our goal is to bring much needed awareness to the under told story of the 40,000+ individuals affected by Cystic Fibrosis across the country, and to raise as much money as possible in support of finding a cure and bettering the resources available to the individuals and families navigating this life changing disease.
How can YOU help?
By making a donation of any size to our fundraising efforts, purchasing tickets, a table, or a sponsorship for the annual Brewer's Ball taking place in Charlottesville, VA on October 10th, 2024, sharing your own personal story and connection to CF with me, and spreading the message of this important cause with those you know. This truly is a disease far to unseen and supported. In personally getting to know people in my community who are now living long and fulfilling lives because of the great work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, I can tell you that your support is truly life changing for remarkable individuals who deserve to have years ahead of them that we so often take for granted.
Learn About Cystic Fibrosis:
Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is over 50. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
