I’m honored to be recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as one of this year’s Outstanding Professionals, a distinction that celebrates community leaders making a difference. As part of this recognition, I’ve committed to raising funds to help the Foundation fulfill its mission: finding a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF) and ensuring that every person with CF has the chance to live a long, fulfilling life.
Nearly 40,000 people in the U.S. live with CF—a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Thanks to decades of research and care supported by the CF Foundation, the median survival age has risen from elementary school age to over 50. However, there is still much work to be done. Many individuals with CF do not benefit from existing therapies, and the path to a cure remains urgent.
By supporting my fundraising efforts, you have the opportunity to be part of changing medical history. Together, we can accelerate the mission to end CF for every individual battling this disease. 🔗 Learn more & donate at www.cff.org
