My name is Mary-Kaylin Linch and I’m excited to share with you that I’ve been selected as an honoree by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. With this, I’ve committed to raising funds to help the Foundation move closer to a cure and improve the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

My fundraiser, “Rosy Futures for CF: Rooted in Research, Growing Toward a Cure,” is about hope — and the real, immediate impact we can make together.
Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease affecting nearly 40,000 people in the U.S. Thanks to Foundation-supported research, the median survival age has increased from early childhood to over 50 years. But too many still don’t have effective treatments, and our work isn’t done.

As someone living with a chronic illness myself, I understand how often we’re only offered symptom management to get through each day. What inspires me about the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is that while they relentlessly pursue a cure, they also work to improve the daily quality of life for people with CF — because how you live matters just as much as how long you live.

What’s special about this Foundation is that the funds raised directly impact people with CF. They don’t get lost in overhead. During COVID-19, these dollars made it possible for those with CF to safely access vital care without risking their health.

Thank you so much for your support. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together for the CF community and the families affected by this disease. It truly takes a village, and every donation moves us one step closer to a cure while making a meaningful difference today.
