I will soon be honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at a special event recognizing outstanding young professionals in my community. In accepting this distinction, I have committed to raise money to help the Foundation realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF).

About me:

I am the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for the adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at UR Medicine's Complex Care Center. I provide direct patient-centered comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to adult patients who have complex childhood onset of disease. I also have a personal connection to CF as it runs in my family. I am excited to continue helping the CF community by serving as one of the 2022 Rochester's Finest honorees by raising money for Cystic Fibrosis research, the CF Foundation and promoting awareness of our CF community and the impact of this disease.

Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation. Your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively to help support vital CF research, medical and education programs.

Making a donation is easy and secure! Just click the Donate button on this page to make a donation that will be credited to my fundraising efforts. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated!

About Cystic Fibrosis (CF):
Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, kidneys, and liver. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene (myself included).

Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough.

Not everyone with CF is able to benefit from the newest modulator therapies that have drastically changed the landscape for CF care. Patients not on modulators are at greater risk for disease progression and severity of illness. The foundation is committed to research in finding therapies for people with rarer genetic defects and has raised and committed hundreds of millions of dollars to help develop CF drugs and therapies. Virtually every approved CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support, and research to find a cure is more promising than ever before.

Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
