I’m incredibly honored to be recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at a special event celebrating outstanding professionals in our community.

This cause is especially meaningful to me because I have a personal connection to cystic fibrosis. That connection has given me a much deeper understanding of the challenges people with CF and their families face — and it’s a big reason why I’m so passionate about supporting the Foundation’s mission.

As part of this honor, I’ve committed to raising money to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation work toward its ultimate goal: finding a cure for CF and ensuring that everyone living with this disease has the opportunity to live a long, healthy and fulfilling life.

Nearly 40,000 people in the United States are living with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas and other organs. The progress made over the past several decades is incredible. Because of research and care supported by the CF Foundation, the median survival age for people with CF is now over 50 — compared to just 60 years ago, when many children with CF didn’t live long enough to attend elementary school.

But there is still so much work to do. Not everyone with CF benefits from the treatments available today, and the goal is a cure for every single person living with this disease.

If you’re able, I would be so grateful if you would consider making a donation to support my fundraising efforts. Every contribution, big or small, helps fund research, support people and families living with CF, and bring us one step closer to a cure.

This is a cause that is very close to my heart, and I would love to have you be part of it with me.

Thank you so much for your support! 💜
