Dylan Roesch

My name is Dylan Roesch, and I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age three after a near death experience. I am now 28 years old and maintaining consistent health due to medical advancements as a result of CF research. I am honored to be a part of Chicagos Magnificent to raise money for the CF community with a mission to get everybody access to the modulators that have changed my life as well as to continue the fight for a cure! CF hasn't just taught me to appreciate each day and live life to the fullest—it has also shown me that we are all capable of so much more than we realize. Living with Cystic Fibrosis has shaped me into a resilient, positive individual who always looks for the silver lining, embracing every challenge as an opportunity to grow and make the most of every day

Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is over 50. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
