Great Lakes Summer Classic 2024

We are very excited about your interest in donating to the 12^th Annual Great Lakes Summer Classic. We are a 501c(3) non-profit charitable organization who raises money for local children and adults with cystic fibrosis through an annual hockey game for which we sell tickets to the event, and accept donations from sponsors. Proceeds from this year’s events will be given to the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation. Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease in which a defective gene causes a thick buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The donations directly benefit research for young children and adults with CF. With the previous 11 annual events, our organization has been able to raise over $100,000! We are always aiming to improve those numbers year-after-year to make a difference in the lives of even more people.

The 2024 Great Lakes Summer Classic will take place on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 from 12:00-3:00PM at St. Clair Shores Civic Arena (20000 Stephens St. St Clair Shores, MI 48080). Opportunities to volunteer at the event may be available. Tickets to the event are available in advance by calling the designated point of contact listed above or at the venue on the day of the event for $5 each, along with a family-friendly open skate for attendees following the game.
