John Moscati

Hello to all of My Friends & Family,
Thanking you for clicking on the link and visiting my personal page!! Follow me down the rabbit hole and let's see how this season's epic journey goes, leading up to the fantastic Guys and Dolls Gala in March 2019! Our fair princess, Sienna, is back again and ready to lead us to another successful event!

Welcome to my SIXTH YEAR volunteering with the CFF Charlotte Chapter event called Guys and Dolls. You may recall my participation as a "Guy" back in 2013-2014 with 5 years following as a chair for the event. It has been life changing decision for me to get involved and to stay involved. I honestly couldn't do it without all of you!

This cause is incredibly deserving and I’ve seen firsthand how the CF Foundation makes a difference. As part of my commitment, I will be raising funds that will go towards research and care for cystic fibrosis and the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Just one of the thousands of people who will benefit from these efforts is my little friend, Sienna, who lives right here in Charlotte. I am raising funds in her honor. I've been honored to meet Sienna and her family and can happily call them my friends. Friends that I will fight hard for. Friends that I will give my time for. Friends that I will bake cookies for. Friends that I will continue to lead other volunteers crush their own personal goals for. Friends that I will raise funds for. Friends that look at you as donors who are helping to add tomorrows to the life of their 5 year old daughter. A little girl who has never known a day of her life without treatments or medication. A little girl named Sienna who loves to play outside, dream of being a princess, tumble and bounce during gymnastics. My little friend has the sweetest heart and the prettiest smile!

Advances have been made and life expectancy has gone up into their 30's or even lower 40's. Would you be ok with hearing the news of your newborn baby having cystic fibrosis and the "good news" is that recent scientific advances in medicine have CFers living into their late 30's? Of course not. IT ISN'T ENOUGH.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis.

Please consider donating to my fundraising efforts and supporting my participation in this event. There are a few ways you can support me:

1) Make a 100% tax deductible donation right here online with your credit or debit card

2) Purchase a ticket to the event (held March 30, 2019 at the Hilton Charlotte Center City) by clicking “Purchase” or by calling the Foundation at 704-321-7852. Tickets are $150 and include appetizers, beer and wine open bar, a DJ and dancing, as well as entrance into the after party at Prohibition, Tyber Creek, Connolly’s or Dandelion Market. VIP tickets are $225 and include all of the above PLUS – entry into the event an hour early

with an open beer, wine AND liquor bar during that hour, access to an exclusive VIP bar during the event, premiere seating and a champagne toast.

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day.

To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!

On behalf of CF families around the country, thank you so much for your support and ensuring that one day CF stands for Cure Found!

Lots of love,
John...John Paul...JP...Moscati...Mo...Scoots...Moose...etc etc
