It's that time of year! Guys & Dolls season has begun and with it the immortal fundraising page. I'm on the committee again this year, and you know the deal - I try to raise as much money as I can and you help me do it!

Over the last several years I've gotten to know people living with CF and their families and the incredible things the CF Foundation has done - from putting not 1 but 3 drugs on the market since I got involved (which, let's be honest, is definitely because of your donations - science can't go anywhere without money, and by donating you are helping us be at the forefront of medical research and life-saving drug development), advocating tirelessly for patients in Washington, and working with treatment centers across the country to ensure CF patients get the care they need.

Please consider donating to my fundraising efforts and supporting my participation in this event. There are a few ways you can support me:

-Make a 100% tax deductible donation right here online with your credit or debit card

-Purchase a ticket to the event (held March 30, 2019 at the Hilton Charlotte Center City) by clicking “Purchase” or by calling the Foundation at 704-321-7852. Tickets are $150 and include appetizers, beer and wine open bar, a DJ and dancing, as well as entrance into the after party at Prohibition, Tyber Creek, Connolly’s or Dandelion Market. VIP tickets are $225 and include all of the above PLUS – entry into the event an hour early with an open beer, wine AND liquor bar during that hour, access to an exclusive VIP bar during the event, premiere seating and a champagne toast.

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!

On behalf of CF families around the country, thank you so much for your support and ensuring that one day CF stands for Cure Found!

With so much love and gratitude my cynical heart can barely stand it,

In case you haven't heard of it (which, if you're Facebook friends with me, you prooooobably have) there is a movie coming out about life with CF starring the painfully cute dude who plays Jughead in Riverdale - it might give you a quick glimpse into why I make myself horrifically uncomfortable by asking for money every year.
