Nearly 40,000 people in the U.S. have CF, a genetic disease that severely affects the lungs and other organs. Decades ago, children with CF rarely lived past elementary school. Today, thanks to the Foundation's efforts, the median life expectancy is over 50 years.

Despite these advances, not everyone with CF benefits from current treatments. Our goal is a cure for every individual with CF and a future free from this disease’s burden.
