Hi! I’m Quinn and I am being honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as Philly’s Finest Fighter for the 2026 Gala. I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when I was just shy of 2 weeks old. I have faced many challenges in my 2 years of life, but I am strong and I am a fighter. With the help of my parents and my amazing CF team at CHOP, I started Trikafta at 4 months old and that has immensely helped my lungs. I don’t have to fight to breathe anymore! I still struggle with weight gain and horrible reflux, but that doesn’t get me down. I am strong and I love life. I love being outside, “wrestling” with my two older brothers, all things Bluey and dancing. You’ll never see me walking, I’m always running, jumping or dancing.

Please consider joining us and help make medical history. I am one of the lucky ones with a treatment, but there are so many others that don’t have a treatment and I don’t think that’s very fair. Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is over 50. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
