This honor comes with a responsibility I deeply embrace: raising funds to help CFF achieve its mission of curing cystic fibrosis (CF) and ensuring everyone with CF can live a long, fulfilling life.

CF is a progressive genetic disease impacting the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, affecting nearly 40,000 individuals in the United States. Thanks to CFF-funded research and care, the median lifespan for people with CF has increased dramatically, from not attending elementary school to exceeding 50 years today. Over a dozen life-extending treatments have been developed with CFF's support, adding decades to patients' lives.

However, the fight isn't over. Many individuals with CF still lack effective therapies. Our goal is a cure for everyone, and we won't rest until everyone with CF can live free from this burden.
