I am pleased to share that I have been selected as one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 2024 Finest Honorees. The Finest event brings together the most active and influential young professionals and philanthropists in our area to support a great cause: finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
As a member of a group of individuals who have been selected based on community
involvement and career success, I am committed to raising funds and awareness to help the mission of the CF Foundation. I have a goal of raising $5,000 to make a difference in the lives of the 40,000 children and adults in the U.S. battling CF.
I was first introduced to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation over a decade ago through my friends Dave and Lynda and their 11 year-old daughter Cali who was born with CF. At the time, the average life expectancy for a person with CF was 37. Throughout the past 10 years, donations from people like you have helped fund vital research and drug development, increasing life expectancy for CF patients to 56 years old (just two years older than Steve). This is tremendous progress, but still not long enough.
I am hoping that you will support me in my Finest endeavor by making a contribution and helping me reach my fundraising goal, making a difference for Cali and helping us get closer to finding a cure for CF. Any amount helps us get closer to CF standing for “Cure Found”.
