Help Jordan Make a Difference in the Fight Against Cystic Fibrosis!
Jordan Komisarski
I’m honored to be named one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest, a group of young professionals recognized not just for career accomplishments, but for our dedication to making a difference. As part of this, I’ve committed to raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and I’m so excited to be part of this mission.
Nearly 40,000 people in the U.S. have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF often didn’t live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, thanks to Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age is now over 50. The CF Foundation has helped develop more than a dozen treatments, adding decades of life for people with CF.
But there’s still work to do. Many individuals don’t benefit from current therapies, and the Foundation’s vision remains clear: a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis, a life free from the burden of this disease.
While, I'm originally from Erie, Pittsburgh has truly become home. After graduating from Point Park University, I jumped right into a full-time marketing role and recently wrapped up a 10-week fundraising campaign for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Our team raised over $26,000, and now I’m bringing that same energy, passion, and creativity into this campaign.
Whether you’re able to donate, attend an event, or share this page, I’d be so grateful. Every dollar gets us closer to a cure and I’m committed to doing everything I can to make this campaign count!
