I'm incredibly honored to have been selected as one of Pittsburgh's 50 Finest this year in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

If you know me, you know that when I care about something, I give it my whole heart. I'm incredibly passionate about making a difference wherever I can, and this mission has quickly become one that means so much to me.

As a nurse, I've seen how deeply chronic illness affects not only patients, but entire families. Through this campaign, I will also have the privilege of supporting two amazing local children living with CF, Bryce and Elsie, whose strength and resilience are truly inspiring.

What continues to amaze me is how much progress has been made because people in the community chose to care, donate, advocate, and push research forward. Not long ago, many children diagnosed with cystic fibrosis did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, people with CF are living longer, fuller lives thanks to groundbreaking treatments and research funded by organizations like the CF Foundation and the communities that stand behind them.

The work being done is changing lives in real time - but there is still so much more to accomplish. Every donation helps fund continued research, advancements in treatment, and support for individuals and families living with CF every single day.

I'm proud to be part of this mission and would be so grateful for any support, whether that's a donation, a share, or simply helping spread awareness.
