Rebecca's Fight for a Cure

Rebecca Foust

Rebecca Foust

If you ever met my friend Allie, you know how infectious her laugh was. You know how she loved being goofy. And you absolutely know how much she loved her friends and family.

Allie passed away in July of 2012, but many other Cystic Fibrosis patients continue to fight the same battles that she did. My goal is to keep Allie's joy and humor living on, and honoring her memory by supporting those who are still battling.

Please consider donating towards my goal of $3,500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Your donation will support research, medical and education programs to help our friends and family members have more tomorrows.

-----------------------------------

On November 19th, the Atlanta branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be hosting their annual Battle for a Cure event, featuring local Atlanta food, drinks and music to recognize the 2019 Peachtree Society class. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the CF Foundation in advancing research, medical and educational programs.

In accepting this distinction of Peachtree Society honoree, I have committed to raise money to help the Foundation realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF).

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!

PROUD of you is an understatement! I know Allie is smiling down on you and equally as proud of you for stepping up and fighting for a cure for CF in her memory <3
