I feel incredibly honored to have been chosen as a 2025 CF Finest Honoree for the CNY chapter. In 2010, my younger sister was stillborn due to the delta F508 mutation. In 2011, myself and my family chose to turn our grief into something beautiful, and have been involved with the CNY chapter of the foundation ever since. Jenevieve inspired me to become a pediatric registered nurse and now I have the ability to provide care to children with Cystic Fibrosis.
As I further my career, it is important to me to stay involved in Jenevieve's honor and involve myself in my community. If you have similar values, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the perfect place to invest your time and energy. Researchers are making tangible discoveries in treatment and strides towards a cure every single day. The investment you make to honorees, events, and the foundation, has a direct and visible impact on our community. The number of pediatric patients requiring acute care on my hospital unit decreases every year, thanks to the efforts of the foundation and researchers working towards a cure.
