Having been previously selected and recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a STANDOUT honoree was an incredibly rewarding experience. This year I have joined the leadership team for STANDOUT as a member of the committee.

I am raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research and care in recognition of my friend Brennen Reeves, who was diagnosed with CF at 8 weeks old. He is one of the people I have known the longest in my life, being the next door neighbor of my Mother. He is now 28 years of age and was the recipient of a double lung transplant. His fight is not over and I am proud to stand next to him in support wherever I am able.

Last year, our Charlotte STANDOUT program raised over $150,000 to fund new advancements in medication and therapy for CF. Please join me once again for this great cause and let's help create more tomorrow's for those impacted by CF.

There are several ways to support me:

1) Gala at Ritz Carlton (Open Bar, Seated Dinner, Band): Purchase a ticket by scrolling down on this page if you would like to join us on October 4 (I would be ecstatic to have you at my table as I support the honorees!)

2) Asheville Brewery Tour (Round Trip): Purchase a ticket to ride our Chartered Brewery Bus Tour to and from Asheville on 8/17 here: eventbrite.com/e/2nd-annual-asheville-brewery-bus-benefitting-cf-foundation-from-charlotte-tickets-63454062810

3) If you are unable to attend but would still like to support our efforts and help us get one step closer to a cure, please scroll down on this page to make a donation that will be credited to my fund-raising efforts. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated!

4) If you know others that would be willing and interested in joining our efforts please send them my link and invite your friends to support our effort!

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptom-less carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now—more than ever—to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
