Alright SO I somehow swindled my way into Nashville's Top 30 Under 30 which means only one thing: YOU now have the distinct opportunity to help me raise money to cure a WHOLE DAMN DISEASE. My goal was $5k but I'm gonna change it to $15k now because some other dude in the class has already raised $9k and I mean I can't just let him show me up, right?

So please donate if you feel so inclined! And even if you don't, I'll be organizing a bunch of fundraisers over the next couple months, where you'll be giving me money, but you'll be having fun so it won't FEEL like you're giving me money. So SMASH that donate button (pew pew) over on the sidebar and your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively to help support vital CF research, medical and education programs.

OH BTW WHAT IS CF, SAM?? That's an excellent question, ma'am or sir. The boilerplate details are below, but I would genuinely love it if you reached out so I could talk to you about it more, why I'm so passionate about it, and how we're going to literally cure this disease in our lifetime (I actually believe that).

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
