About Elizabeth: Elizabeth Wolfe is Counsel of Regulatory Affairs at National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Her practice areas focus on regulatory law and legislative policy as it pertains to the Accounting profession. Prior to joining NASBA, Liz was Assistant General Counsel at the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance in the Regulatory Boards Division. There she provided legal advice regarding state licensure, Federal Anti-Trust law, the Tennessee Open Records Act, and the Tennessee Open Meetings Act to the Tennessee State Boards of Accountancy, Architecture & Engineers, Motor Vehicles, and Athletic Commission. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee where she double majored in Art History and Political Science. At UT, Liz was honored to be a Freshman Orientation Leader and was very involved in her sorority, Delta Zeta. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Belmont University College of Law.

During law school, Liz served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, overseeing and implementing many large events for law students. She was a legal intern for SESAC and for Scripps Networks Interactive, following her passion for the entertainment industry.

Liz enjoys giving back to the community in her time outside of practicing law. Liz is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division. Liz is also a member of the Belmont Law Inn of Court where she mentors first year law students.

In her free time, Liz is a proud wife to her husband Dale. She enjoys painting, cooking, challenging herself at Pure Barre, and going to the park with their dog, Jackson. Liz loves spending time with friends and is always up for traveling to new places or experiencing new things with her husband.

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
