Hi friends,

Thank you for making your way to my fundraising page! :)

In February, I will be honored at a special event recognizing Nashville’s “30 Under 30” outstanding young professionals. In accepting this distinction, I have committed to raise money to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF).

It is both humbling and rewarding to be among such an incredible group of emerging leaders in this city, and is an honor to raise money and awareness for such a deserving cause as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. With the recent medical advancements, CF has truly become the “invisible disease” - making is almost impossible to know that someone has CF when meeting them, or even spending time with them. This makes it both easier and harder in many ways. I have an extended family member with CF, and stayed at their house without knowing.

The past few months, I have gotten to know several families in the Nashville area who have young children with CF, and it has really touched my life. One family in particular, the Taylors, have two children with CF (You can see a sweet picture of little Carolina Mae below!) Parents Ron and Erin Taylor are both actively involved in The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside them and the families in the middle Tennessee area to help get one step closer to “CF” standing for “Cure Found!”

Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation. Your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively to help support vital CF research, medical and education programs.

Making a donation is easy and secure! Just click the Donate button on this page to make a donation that will be credited to my fundraising efforts. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated!

The ceremony recognizing the 30 Under 30 will be on February 2, 2019. You can purchase tickets to the event, or sponsor a table*, which will all contribute directly toward my fundraising goal as well. *Please reach out to me if you want to learn more about purchasing a table at the event. It is sure to be a wonderful evening!!

Thank you for your support.
It means a lot to me personally, and even more to the CF Foundation!

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
