Amanda Grace

I'm Amanda Grace, a Virginia native and a proud resident of the City of Charlottesville. I grew up on a farm outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and I earned my BBA in Business Management from James Madison University in 2010. I have a passion for international travel, local wine, and exploring different cultures through food. For the past ten years, I've worked at S&P Global, which is a financial data company with a strong culture of charitable engagements. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to give back to our community through a variety of company-sponsored events, but I am most excited about my new partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) as they continue their search for a cure. I'm proud to share that I've been named one of Cville's Finest by the CFF! I will be honored by this amazing organization at this year's Brewer's Ball, a special event recognizing outstanding young professionals in my community. In accepting this distinction, I have committed to raising money to help the Foundation realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF). I would like to ask for your help in meeting my fundraising goal. Any donation amount will make an impact! Your gift will be used efficiently and effectively to help the Foundation continue vital CF research, provide support to families with CF, and expand the Foundation's medical and education programs. To make a secure donation towards my fundraising efforts, click the Donate button on my fundraising page, or reach out to me directly to ask about donation matching. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated! You can also help me meet my fundraising goal by purchasing tickets to this year's virtual Brewer's Ball unTapped event on Friday, July 23! Click the Buy Tickets button on my fundraising page to choose one of the ticket options below: $25 General Admission: Includes admission to live concert (100% tax-deductible) $75 Virtual Ticket: Includes one 6-pack of Three Notch’d Brewing Co. 65 Roses Hibiscus Blonde Ale, admission, and Brewer's Ball swag ($65 tax-deductible) $150 VIP Virtual Ticket: Includes one 6-pack of Three Notch’d Brewing Co. 65 Roses Hibiscus Blonde Ale, admission, Brewer's Ball swag, plus a Virginia Craft Brewery Passport offering free pints and tastings at participating locations! (not tax-deductible) About Cystic Fibrosis: Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is about 40. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. Your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit cff.org. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!

Come support the CFF at a Charity Night on Thursday, July 8 at The Fitzroy! Doors open at 5pm, and the raffle is at 7pm. We've got some great prizes, including UVA signed baseball gear, so don't miss it!
