To start off my campaign, I'm taking the first step in donating $200. I hope you can donate what you can to help me reach, or exceed, my goal!

Thank you for taking a moment to visit my page — I truly appreciate your time.
I’m honored to be recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at The Brewer’s Ball, a special event taking place in Charlottesville, VA on October 9, 2025. This event highlights professionals making a positive impact in their communities, and as part of this recognition, I’ve committed to raising funds to support the Foundation’s mission: to find a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF) and help those living with CF lead long, healthy lives.
As a father and uncle, I care deeply about the well-being of children and families. When my friend Nathan Leslie nominated me for this honor, I saw it as an opportunity to support a cause that’s making real progress and changing lives.
CF is a genetic disease that affects nearly 40,000 people in the U.S., causing serious issues in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Just a few decades ago, most children with CF didn’t live to attend elementary school. Today, thanks to research and care funded by the CF Foundation, the median life expectancy has risen to over 50. Still, there’s more work to do — not everyone with CF benefits from current treatments, and the Foundation’s goal is clear: a cure for every person with CF.
I’ve set a personal fundraising goal to help move that vision forward. Your support can make a meaningful difference. By contributing, you're helping to fund critical research and improve lives — and you're joining a community that refuses to settle for anything less than a cure.
If you know someone who might be interested in supporting this mission, please feel free to share my fundraising page with them: https://finest.cff.org/Charlottesville/petermindnich.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a cure.
