All In for a Cure

I am honored to be nominated as an honoree for Acadiana’s Finest in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Louisiana.

As a professor at UL Lafayette, founder of The Celestial Scholar, and proud member of this community, I care deeply about using my platform, energy, and connections to make a meaningful impact on those around me.

This campaign is also personal to me. Cystic fibrosis has touched the lives of people I have known and cared about, and I have seen firsthand how powerful hope, research, and community support can be.

Why This Matters

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.

Thanks to decades of research, care, and advocacy supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, people with CF are living longer than ever before. But there is still more work to do — and not everyone benefits equally from existing treatments.

That is why this mission matters.

My official fundraising goal is $15,000 — but I am not stopping at “just enough.”

I am setting my sights on becoming one of this year’s top fundraisers, not for bragging rights, but because every dollar raised helps move the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission forward.

This is where my community comes in. If you have ever believed in me, supported my work, cheered on one of my projects, attended one of my events, or simply wanted to be part of something meaningful — this is your invitation.
