Sixty Years of Progress.
One Cure to Go.
I've been honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as one of Birmingham's Finest — and that honor comes with a commitment: to help fund a cure for cystic fibrosis.
“A cure for every person with cystic fibrosis — a life free from the burden of this disease.”

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school.
Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age is over 50. Working alongside the CF community, the Foundation has fostered more than a dozen CF treatments and added decades of life for people with this disease.
But many people with CF still don't benefit from existing therapies. That's the gap we're working to close — and we will not leave anyone behind.
Help me reach my $3,000 goal.
Every gift goes directly to research, care, and advocacy. This is a real chance, in our lifetime, to be part of ending this disease.
