Blooms and Brunch

You're invited to Blooms & Brunch, a morning of flowers, food, and friends benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is one of the events in my campaign, as I raise funds ahead of the 9th Annual Backyard Ball this October.
 

What to expect: Join us for brunch and a guided floral design workshop, where you'll learn to build your own boutique in a vase to take home. We're thrilled to have Stephanie Solomon of The Austin Aromatic leading the workshop — Stephanie has a gift for walking people through each step of building a balanced, stunning arrangement, no experience needed. Come solo or bring a friend; either way, you'll leave with a beautiful arrangement and a full stomach.
 

Why I'm hosting this: This event is part of my campaign honoring my close friend Patrice, a member of the CF community and past Austin's Finest honoree, as I work to raise funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation ahead of this year's Backyard Ball. Stephanie's support makes this one especially meaningful — The Austin Aromatic has donated to many CFF events, so getting to team up with her directly for this event feels like a full-circle moment.
 

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has fueled dramatic improvements in CF research and care over the past several decades. Because of the Foundation's work, people with CF are living longer, fuller lives, and the outlook keeps improving every year — but there's still more work to do, and every dollar raised helps push toward a cure.
