ROC Finest Alumni
It is with great excitement that the Rochester CFF Board of Directors and key Rochester's Finest alumni share that the lifetime total of funds raised by the Rochester's Finest program is $830,000! With that in mind, chapter leadership have issued a challenge to the Finest alumni: Will you help us reach our ambitious fundraising goal for 2025 of $170,000, and a lifetime total of $1 million?
We have 26 exceptional honorees this year, the largest class so far, and they are working hard to achieve personal ambitious fundraising goals. Combined with the projected fundraising total from the ROC the Red Carpet Celebration Dinner in October, the total raised this year will be around $145,000. WILL YOU HELP CLOSE THE GAP TO $170,000 AND GET US TO THAT $1MILLION IN 2025?
Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is over 60. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
