We are incredibly honored and excited to announce our selection to the STANDOUT Class of 2024! As members of the 2024 STANDOUT class, we are committed to making a difference in the fight against cystic fibrosis (CF). STANDOUT is a professional development and leadership program of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that annually recognizes young professionals throughout Charlotte for their contributions to the community. The program culminates with an awards ceremony event on Thursday, November 7, at The Ruth.
 

As passionate advocates for fundraising and supporting those in need, we are thrilled to be part of this journey. Being a part of the STANDOUT class allows us to collaborate with talented and amazing individuals and to be supported by the incredible team at Search Solution Group. Search Solution Group has proudly supported the CF Foundation for several years, and we are excited to continue this tradition in 2024.
 

In accepting the honor of participating as STANDOUTs, we are dedicated to raising funds and awareness in the fight against CF. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes a thick buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, leading to severe respiratory and digestive issues. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been at the forefront of the battle against CF, driving significant medical and scientific advancements. Thanks to their efforts, the life expectancy of individuals born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years.
 

Despite this progress, many people with CF still do not benefit from existing therapies. Those who can use current treatments continue to face severe complications, leading to hospitalizations, missed school and work, and significant disruptions in their daily lives. The Foundation's vision is to find a cure for every person with CF and to ensure a life free from the burden of this disease. Winning the fight against CF requires relentless effort and sustained investment, and we have the opportunity to end this disease once and for all.
 

We are asking for your support in our quest to find a cure for CF. Your generous contributions will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the world's leader in the search for a cure. The Foundation's most challenging and important work lies ahead, and your support is crucial in developing therapies and ultimately finding a cure for all people living with CF.
