I am incredibly honored and excited to announce my selection to the STANDOUT Class of 2024! The STANDOUT program, a professional development and leadership initiative by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, recognizes young professionals throughout Charlotte for their contributions to the community. The program culminates in an awards ceremony event on Thursday, November 7, at The Ruth, and I am beyond thrilled to be part of this amazing experience.
 

Fundraising and supporting those in need have always been close to my heart. Being part of the STANDOUT class means so much to me because it allows me to make a real difference in the fight against cystic fibrosis (CF). The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been at the forefront of battling this disease, driving extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Thanks to the Foundation's efforts, the life expectancy of those born with CF has significantly increased over the past 30 years.
 

However, many individuals with CF still face challenging complications and interruptions in their daily lives. The Foundation's vision is to find a cure for every person with CF and ensure a life free from the burdens of this disease. This mission is incredibly important to me, and I am dedicated to doing everything I can to help achieve it.
 

I am asking for your support in this quest to find a cure for this devastating disease. Your generous contributions go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the world's leader in the search for a cure for CF. The Foundation's most crucial work is still ahead, requiring sustained investment to develop new therapies and, ultimately, a cure for all individuals living with CF.
