Hey, thanks for taking some time to visit my page and learn more about CF!

Every day, those living with cystic fibrosis (CF) face the challenge of breathing—something many of us take for granted. CF is a progressive, life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, with no cure—yet.

Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is over 50.

One of the most recent breakthroughs that has allowed those with CF to live longer, more healthy lives, is TrikaftaTrikafta is considered one of the most significant advancements in CF treatment, as it benefits about 90% of people with CF, particularly those with at least one F508del mutation—the most common CF mutation. Many patients experience improved lung function, fewer hospitalizations, better weight gain, and an overall better quality of life while on Trikafta.

With your support, we can fund groundbreaking research, provide essential care, and bring us closer to a cure. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of those battling CF.

Join us in celebrating our efforts (and just have a old fashioned good time) and buy a ticket to the Brewer's Ball on June 12!
