Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF.
Nellie, our niece, was diagnosed with CF at birth. She has followed a strict routine to maintain her health since, beginning Trikafta on her 2nd birthday in August 2024. This medicine, along with the support of her family and community, allows her to live an even healthier (and longer) life!
