I’m excited to be kicking off fundraising for a beyond worthy cause, alongside so many wonderful individuals. Together, we can support the mission of finding a cure for CF. To kick off my fundraising efforts, I’ve made the first donation! Hope you will join me - no amount is too small. Thank you so much for your consideration. Love, Kendall

I have been nominated to serve as one of Richmond’s Finest by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at a special event (Brewer’s Ball) recognizing outstanding young professionals in my community with a passion for philanthropy. In accepting this distinction, I have committed to raise money to help the Foundation realize its mission of curing cystic fibrosis (CF) and providing all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives.
I consider myself to have been blessed with the good fortune of health so far in my ~30 years - and also am a firm believer that to whom much is given, much will be required. I view being a Finest Honoree as a way to give back, raise awareness about CF and make a real difference in the lives of people with CF.
Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation or by purchasing tickets to the Brewer’s Ball on Thursday, June 13 to join the campaign celebration. I’d love for you to join me! Ticket sales count towards my goal. Please read more about the Brewer’s Ball on the CFF site - it will be a super fun event.
Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Sixty years ago, children with CF usually did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age of people with CF is over 50. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
