STANDOUT Charlotte & STANDOUT Triangle

STANDOUT is a professional development and leadership program of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that honors young professionals who exemplify leadership, are actively engaged in their communities, and are excelling in their careers. Through mission-centered experiences and leadership training, honorees gain a deeper understanding of cystic fibrosis while developing the skills and relationships needed to lead with purpose.

Honorees
  • Participate in meaningful networking and leadership development opportunities
  • Are paired with an executive mentor in their field for guided professional growth
  • Serve as ambassadors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by learning about cystic fibrosis, connecting with families impacted by the disease, and visiting a local CF Care Center

Each STANDOUT Charlotte and STANDOUT Triangle class participates in a series of up to eight networking and professional development experiences, which may include a program kickoff, leadership workshops, a CF ambassador family event, a CF Care Center tour, a CF parents panel, and a breakfast with CF Foundation volunteer leaders.

Event offerings may vary year to year.

The program culminates with a gala celebrating the Class of 2026. Gala attendance is mandatory for all honorees.
