I am honored to share that the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has selected me as one of Austin Finest and will recognize this distinction at the upcoming Backyard Ball. With this honor comes a commitment I am proud to make: raising critical funds to support the Foundation’s mission of curing cystic fibrosis (CF) and ensuring every person with CF has the opportunity to live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.

This mission is deeply personal to me. Since 2021, I have served as the Physical Therapist in the CF clinic at Dell Children’s Medical Center, working directly with children living with CF. Each day, I help patients use movement as medicine—teaching, encouraging, and supporting them through exercise as part of their complex care. CF affects the lungs, pancreas, and gastrointestinal system, requiring daily treatments and a dedicated multidisciplinary team. I have seen firsthand both the challenges these children face and the extraordinary resilience they show.

I am asking for your support as I work toward my fundraising goal—to raise as much as possible. Your donation fuels not only my competitive spirit, but more importantly, the life‑changing work of the CF Foundation. By contributing, you have the rare opportunity to help change the trajectory of this disease within our lifetime.

The progress made so far is remarkable. Sixty years ago, most children with CF did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, thanks to Foundation‑supported research and care, the median survival age is over 50. More than a dozen transformative treatments exist because of this community’s dedication. Yet many individuals with CF still do not benefit from current therapies. The Foundation’s vision—a cure for every person with CF—remains urgent and unwavering.
