I’m honored to share that I’ve been selected by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to be recognized at a special event celebrating outstanding professionals in our community. This recognition means a lot to me—not just professionally, but personally—because I live with cystic fibrosis (CF).

CF is a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. For me, it means daily treatments, medications, and a constant fight to stay ahead of infections and complications. But thanks to the incredible work of the CF Foundation, people like me are living longer, fuller lives than ever before. Sixty years ago, children with CF rarely made it to elementary school. Today, the median survival age is over 50—and that’s because of people like you who support research, care, and innovation.

I’ve committed to raising funds to help the Foundation continue its mission: to cure cystic fibrosis and ensure that every person with CF can live a long, fulfilling life. Many of us still don’t benefit from existing therapies, and we won’t stop until there’s a cure for everyone.
