In 2024, I was honored to be recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a member of the STANDOUT Class, which celebrates outstanding professionals making an impact in their communities. I am proud to continue supporting the Foundation this year as a committee member and fundraiser.

Through my involvement, I remain committed to helping the CF Foundation advance its mission of curing cystic fibrosis and ensuring that all people with CF have the opportunity to live long, fulfilling lives.

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Nearly 40,000 people in the United States are living with CF. Sixty years ago, children with CF often did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, because of Foundation-supported research and care, the median survival age for people with CF is over 50. The Foundation has helped drive the development of more than a dozen treatments and has added decades of life for many people with CF.

Still, the work is not done. Many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies, and the Foundation’s vision remains clear: a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis and a life free from the burden of this disease.

Please consider supporting my fundraising efforts by making a donation. Your contribution helps move us closer to ending this disease and gives you the opportunity to be part of making medical history.
