I’m honored to be recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at a special event celebrating young professionals in the DC area. As part of this recognition, I’ve committed to raising funds to help the Foundation continue its mission of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis and improving the lives of everyone living with CF.

This cause is personal to me because of my boyfriend, Casey. When we first started dating, I quickly learned that living with cystic fibrosis means much more than taking medication—it means daily treatments, frequent clinic visits, and facing challenges most people never see. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of seeing the incredible strength, resilience, and optimism that Casey and so many others in the CF community demonstrate every day.

While the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has helped make incredible progress—there is still no cure. Casey is among the approximately 10% of people with CF who cannot benefit from the life-changing medications available today, making continued research more important than ever.
